Today I spent a great day at home crochetting, watching netflix, cleaning and baking cookies! Today I want to share the recipe I made today with you! Also, with 13 more days left in this challenge I just want to remind you that means there is only 13 days left to comment on my blog for the grand prize of a bottle of ningxia red, ningxia nitro and ningxia red packets as well as some other seasonal goodies! My ningxia shot today was grapefruit and thieves in the morning and peppermint before dinner for some pep! And with that little plug, enjoy my video detailing my baking adventure and the recipe! |

After a really fly by fast morning subbing at my favourite school, I got home, ate and found out a friend of mine had passed away this weekend. Today is also my last day at my part time job working with autistic children and their families. Winter driving makes me go on edge.
I took my daily ningxia shots, diffused jade lemon, release, and energy all day. Right now I'm burning a eucalyptus spearmint candle and have bawled my eyes out. Today, I don't have any oily goodness for you. Maybe I will tomorrow before 7 pm MST when I have global drums. Maybe not. But for right now I will sign off and hope for inspiration and guidance tomorrow. Margaret out.
I am thankful because I get to choose how to live healthy and create my own wellness through young living, both as a wholesale member, and as a budding entrepreneur challenging herself each and every day to share the goodness with everyone.
I am thankful for the opportunity to take a 30 day ningxia challenge and have the oils to enhance the experience and help me take control on my health. I am thankful for supportive friends who message me about questions, concerns, and general excitement. I am thankful for the support of my family. I am thankful for the ever growing support (but still not there yet) of my boyfriend who is now encouraging me to use my oils whenever I'm angry at him (my own own advice to him. HA!) I am thankful for a wonderful upline stream who helps me with questions and concerns and helps me become ever more confident with myself and my willingness to continue using and sharing young living. And I am thankful for YOU! My lovely readers who I will hopefully see more of in the comments or in my emails. Thank you for reading and helping me share my passion for natural health with young living. I know Canadian thanksgiving already happened, but soldiers sacrificed SO much for us, it is ever humbling to count our blessings and really understand that they died so that we can be thankful for SO MUCH and keep our freedom. Props to those of you who know what my blog title is referencing (what a great comment to post for the contest!) Anyways, today I did a video log showing you the horrid weather here, explaining to you which oils can be digested with ningxia red and a special morning shot with 2 of my favourite oils! (And yes, my evening shot was lemon, grapefruit, topped with cinnamon bark and it was delish! And it helped curb my appetite (which is a tough thing to do when I'm on my time of the month!).
Today is Catholic education Sunday and the priest asked all staff of Holy Spirit school district to stand up for a blessing. And as a substitute teacher in that district.. I got to stand up! Even though no one knew where I taught or what I taught, I still felt incredibly blessed to be a part of the teaching community finally after working towards this dream. I can't wait until I have my own classroom and cannot imagine how excited I will be!
ANYWAYS, after church, I had to scrape my car, drive home on icy roads and swerved twice in the 5 minute drive home, had breakfast, watched the latest episode of legend of korra and then my boyfriend and I went to our separate rooms right beside each other and did our own things. Now, but 6 pm, I was super antsy. I didn't want to watch anymore TV, all my chores had been done, and it was icy and cold outside. What to do? Lemme tell you: ningxia shot time.
Eventually my diffuser ran out and I kept going, not even noticing until we went out for lunch. So I crocheted for 3 hours straight. Came home, ate, and then crocheted some more, periodically applying my 'pain go away' blend on my wrist and neck to keep going. I would also periodically spray my homemade Peace and Calming linen spray to help keep my anxiety levels down (what if this looks terrible when I'm done? What if whoever I give this to doesn't appreciate it?! etc...). At 7 pm I took my second shot of ningxia red, this time with the intention of finishing off this entire blanket project, writing my blog entry, and keeping this relaxation and productivity going. It has been an amazing day just watching my favourite shows, making beautiful things while stimulating my mind and motor skills.
And I even kept from twitching (after an hour or so of crocheting I usually get twitchy and want to get up) by spraying my peace and calming linen spray, which I am about to share with you now. |
