Merry Christmas all! Here in lovely Lethbridge, Alberta it is -15 Celsius with the wind chill, and it is snowing like mad. I stayed home again most of the day and got SUPER BORED by 6 o'clock after a day of dead like me and community (TV shows), more crochet and knitting but with no real intention (But I did learn how to make granny squares!), and periodically having a cat sniff out my balls of yarn and running away.
I had my morning shot at 730 am, got my dry laundry, got dressed for church: OH! Story time!
ANYWAYS, after church, I had to scrape my car, drive home on icy roads and swerved twice in the 5 minute drive home, had breakfast, watched the latest episode of legend of korra and then my boyfriend and I went to our separate rooms right beside each other and did our own things.
Now, but 6 pm, I was super antsy. I didn't want to watch anymore TV, all my chores had been done, and it was icy and cold outside. What to do? Lemme tell you: ningxia shot time.
I had my 1 shot of ningxia red, and my taste buds immediately woke up (I ate terribly today. DQ combo for lunch when we were brave enough to go out, corn pops for breakfast, and a half bag of miss vickis sea salt and malt vinegar chips..so good but so bad!). I felt a surge of energy and a tad more motivation. I thought to myself at that moment: blog post! Whenever I write, whether it be about something specific or just telling you about my day, I feel creative, inspired, and it leads me to do bigger and better things. Like yesterday: I ordered business cards!!! They should be in Friday or sooner!
And tonight, I wanted to write a little about Bergamot: the blues and boredom buster. Diffuse this to life your spirits, kill depression, lighten up the room and relax you while inspiring you to do what you love. I diffused bergamot after the crazy DQ lunch trip on ice and felt like everything was going to be ok. I've also used bergamot for softer skin, minor irritations on skin, and have even added it to tea to taste more like earl grey tea!
How have you used bergamot? How do you keep motivated?Favourite oil (s) for a snow day?
