Boom. And so started my love affair for young living.
It took my meditation practice to a whole new level. Sure meditating is all about removing yourself from possessions and just focus on being, but peace and calming helped me find my being. I went from just sitting with my legs crossed listening to guided meditation in the one giant mind app and thinking about the rest of my day and mind wandering, to being centred, quieting my mind and actually relaxing from my meditation. My anxiety decreased, I slept better and I started my path to happiness with meditation and young living.
About a week after I got signed up with the premium starter kit and I haven't looked back since. I freak out just a tiny bit when I'm out of peace and calming because it relaxes me so much and I also rub it on my chest when I have anxiety and panic attacks. It has helped me in ways you wouldn't believe. I've added it to my DIY sleep cream, put it in the diffuser when I got to bed, even wake up to it in the mornings during meditation. I'll put some on my chest when it feels tight, I'll rub some on the back of my neck when I'm getting set for a big day. It doubles as a perfume, and works overtime as an anti-depressant. Who knows how much of a wreck I'd be without peace and calming. And apparently the patchouli in the oil is found in some shampoos and may remind you of a significant other (when showing my oils to a friend she said it reminded her of her long distance boyfriend. So lovely to have made some sort of connection!).
