Why hello there! I'm so glad you could join me. Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Margaret. I'm under 30 and just graduated University with a B.Mus/ B.Ed. degree in beautiful Lethbridge, Alberta. Coulees, rattlesnakes, and the longest university hallway in Canada. Why am I starting this blog? Partially for me; as an output to write, share, and not bother people on my facebook feed too much. Because eventually, all the information I share about meditation, young living, and being a nerd, can be awesomely overwhelming. And also partially for you! I've had a great experience on my spiritual path of young and nerdy living and I want to share it with you! Yes you, and you! | So let me make myself useful and share something with you! |
| 2 nights ago, I slept terribly. I woke up the next morning and my neck was super sore! Like, my head just spun around from being exorcised or something. Anyways, I had a lot of driving to do that day and as the day went on and the shoulder checking got more vigorous, my neck started flaring up. Once I got home, I picked up my oils and grabbed pan away (I'm out of valor right now or else I would have used that ASAP!). Pan away is a wonderful blend of Wintergreen, helichurysum, clove and peppermint (the first time I smelled it, it reminded me of black licorice). It is used as a substitute for tylenol and advil. I rubbed pan away all over the back of my neck (about 3-4 drops). I did this 3 times in 1 hour intervals. The 4th time was bed time. So I did the same thing with pan away but then I brought in peppermint essential oil and put a drop on each side of my neck and one at the crown. The cooling sensation it gives is fantastic (I also use peppermint when I have restless leg syndrome)! The next morning (today) my neck feels awesome and I'm ready to shoulder check again and not worry about putting my neck out! Love my oils! |
