When I got the premium starter kit, I had no idea how the oils were actually used. I looked up stuff on pinterest and asked my up-line but that was the extent of my knowledge. Then my up-line says "I have something for you!" and that something was a total game changer. Though this pocket reference doesn't say young living specifically, it deals with only young living grade essential oils. It covers all the blends and singles young living uses and also deals with techniques, uses, and pretty much every ailment known to man and the corresponding oils. |
I'm hosting my first information session in a week from today (SO EXCITING!) and last night I did some prep work to make sure everyone who comes gets the most out of their visit. I've tagged every essential oil in the premium starter kit and a few extra that I personally own. I've highlighted some cool facts (for example: did you know that is would take 5000 pound of rose petals to produce 1 kilo or 2.2 pounds of rose oil? Holy! I'd love to see the garden that produces that.), made some mini speeches, and will be cleaning my house today!
It's lay out is quite nice too. When you look at the oils, it gives you fancy facts, its chemical make up, historical data, then it gets into medicinal properties and the uses and applications. For the singles (I like this part a lot), it says which blends it is in. Right now I'm looking at Neroli (which is an expensive oil) and it is found in Acceptance, Awaken, Humility (in my next ER shipment which should be here this week. So excited!), Inner Child, Live with Passion, Oola grow and present time. The way I see this is: if you like the blend, try to get the single parts of the blend because they will be just as beneficial. And if you don't like the blend, then you're fine. Blends are typically less expensive than some of the singles. But this is just how I look at it.
Now let's end this off nice and geeky:
