Halloween is always an exciting time of year. Kids and adults alike get to dress up in costumes and take on an alter-ego (or just look cool), and kids get excited with the premise of running around the streets with friends and free candy just by saying 'trick or treat'. Schools slow down their day for 'all hallows eve' and some classrooms even have parties where students bring fruit trays and snacks. And promptly after all of this fun 1 of 3 things can happen: 1) kid finds halloween candy and gets sick from too much sugar and has a massive tummy ache. 2) kid gets super sick from germs passed on from friends at school and trick or treating, 3) None of the above and life goes back to normal. |
In preparation of the festivities, I chose my top 5 oils for parents and kids, and an extra boost to help teachers and parents get through the crazy day (at least it falls on a Friday which is a half day, right?!)
