Before Young Living, emotions were a tough thing to handle. They still are now, but to a lesser degree. So I tried meditating to help wrangle up emotions and it helped. I used peace and calming with my meditations 5 months ago, and I fell in love with YL because of the benefits I reaped from using them. When I got even deeper into Young Living and my meditation practice, I thought more about what oils could help me achieve even greater goals. And here are the 4 I want to share with you because they've helped me reach all new levels of inner peace, reverence, and letting go of the past. |
Release: I've always tried to get the positive out of the negative. I really dislike saying it, but aside from teaching me I am stronger than I think I am (which is very good), I worked with a family this summer that I needed to get away from because I couldn't handle all of the drama, chaos, and the daily talks I had with my boss about them. It was cause anxiety attacks all over again, sleepless nights, making me angrier every time I was with them, and I'm sure I talked my boyfriends ear's off every day I worked with them because there was so much I needed to purge.
Then I saw release, and thought this would be a great help. And it is. Release is a blend of ylang ylang, olive, lavandin, geranium, royal Hawaiian sandalwood and blue tansy oils. It smells amazing (almost like a stronger version of peace and calming for me) and I apply it on my sides whenever I feel anxious or need some help and guidance forgetting some of the rougher days from this past summer.
Grounding: There are times when I'm thinking about too much at one time or need an anchor to help me through the day or night. This blend of white fir, ylang ylang, scots pine, atlas cedar, angelica, and juniper oil aids with all of the above. Pine helps bring my emotions and thoughts down so much and helps me remember to either go to sleep or stay on task. I apply a drop on the back of my neck.
Humility: I bough this oil for my meditation practice. Humility is a blend of coriander, ylang ylang (I must like my ylang ylang huh?! It is in humility, grounding AND release!), bergamot, geranium, melissa, frankincense, myrrh, spikenard, neroili and rose oils. I apply a drop on my temples and in the middle of my eyes. Humility helps focus my intentions when I meditate and helps my thoughts settle down.
